WordAtlas Account Deletion
WordAtlas provides an in-app account deletion action for signed-in Firebase accounts.
Delete your account inside WordAtlas
- Open WordAtlas.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Privacy & Legal.
- Choose Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion request.
If Firebase requires recent authentication, you may need to sign in again with Google or Apple before deletion can finish.
What is deleted
The in-app deletion flow deletes the signed-in Firebase Authentication account and known WordAtlas cloud data associated with that Firebase user identifier, including:
- Firestore full progress backups and per-language progress documents.
- Played-grid history stored for no-repeat protection.
- Leaderboard entries for supported WordAtlas languages.
- Multiplayer ranking profile for the account.
- Username reservation documents owned by the account.
- The main Firestore user profile document.
What may remain
Some information may remain where legally, operationally or security-wise necessary, or where it is not technically tied only to the deleted account. This can include temporary server logs, fraud/abuse records, backups retained by service providers for a limited period, aggregated analytics that no longer identify an individual account, and multiplayer records needed to preserve another player’s match history or resolve abuse/security issues.
Local data on your device
WordAtlas stores progress and settings locally on your device. Deleting a signed-in cloud account removes associated cloud account data. You can remove local device data by uninstalling the app or clearing the app’s local storage through your operating system settings.
If you cannot access the app
If you cannot open WordAtlas or cannot use the in-app deletion flow, contact Zentori Studios at support@zentoristudios.com. Include the email/provider you used to sign in and any information that helps verify ownership of the account. Do not send passwords.
