WushaCan Privacy Policy

WushaCan is a multilingual word puzzle game provided by Zentori Studios (“Zentori Studios”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, shared and protected when you use WushaCan.

1. Information Stored on Your Device

WushaCan stores certain gameplay information, preferences and settings locally on your device so that the game can function and remember your progress. This may include:

Locally stored information generally remains on your device until it is removed through the app, the app’s data is cleared, or WushaCan is uninstalled.

2. Firebase Authentication and Accounts

WushaCan uses Google Firebase Authentication to provide account and online functionality.

WushaCan may use an anonymous Firebase account for certain online functionality.

Where available, users may also choose to sign in using supported authentication providers such as Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple.

Authentication providers may provide WushaCan with information such as a unique account identifier, name or email address depending on the sign-in method and the information the user chooses to provide.

WushaCan uses account identifiers to associate cloud progress, profiles and online game information with the appropriate account.

3. Cloud Data and Firebase Firestore

WushaCan uses Google Firebase Cloud Firestore for cloud storage and online game functionality. Information stored in Firestore may include:

This information is used to synchronize progress, provide account functionality, operate multiplayer features, maintain rankings and provide other online game services.

WushaCan multiplayer features use Firebase services to create game rooms, synchronize matches and record game results. Multiplayer information may include:

Certain information required for multiplayer or leaderboard functionality, such as player display names, avatars, scores, rankings or game results, may be visible to other WushaCan users.

Users should avoid including sensitive personal information in their public display name.

WushaCan uses Google AdMob to provide advertising, which may include banner, interstitial and rewarded advertisements.

Google and its advertising partners may automatically process information associated with advertising, which can include device and app information, advertising identifiers, IP address, advertising interactions, diagnostic information and consent signals.

The information processed and the use of personalized or non-personalized advertising can depend on the user’s location, age eligibility, consent choices, device settings and applicable law.

Where required, WushaCan uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain and manage advertising consent choices, including for users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland.

Users may be provided with privacy or consent controls where required.

WushaCan uses Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is used and to improve gameplay, functionality and performance. Analytics information may include app and device information and events relating to interactions with WushaCan, such as:

Analytics information is used to understand game usage, identify areas for improvement and improve the WushaCan experience.

WushaCan does not currently use Firebase Crashlytics. This policy will be updated if that changes.

7. In-App Purchases

WushaCan may offer optional in-app purchases, including virtual game currency, power-ups, bundles, additional game features and advertising-removal options.

Purchases are processed by the platform through which WushaCan was obtained, such as Google Play or Apple’s App Store.

Zentori Studios does not directly receive or store complete payment card or banking information.

WushaCan may process purchase identifiers, purchase status and entitlement information where necessary to verify, deliver or restore purchased content.

Payment providers may process purchase and payment information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

Zentori Studios requires its use of third-party services to be consistent with applicable privacy requirements. Third-party services are responsible for the security and privacy practices of the services they independently operate.

Zentori Studios does not sell users’ personal information.

Information may be transmitted to or processed by service providers used to operate WushaCan, including authentication, cloud hosting, analytics, advertising and purchase-processing providers.

Information may also be disclosed where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, protect users, investigate fraud or abuse, or protect the rights and security of Zentori Studios and WushaCan.

11. Data Retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing WushaCan services, maintaining accounts and game progress, preventing abuse, resolving disputes and meeting applicable legal obligations.

Local game information may remain on a user’s device until the app’s data is cleared or WushaCan is uninstalled.

Cloud information associated with an account may remain until the account or associated information is deleted or until it is no longer reasonably required.

Some limited information may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution or legitimate record-keeping purposes.

Users can request deletion of their WushaCan account and associated account data through the account or Settings area within WushaCan.

Account deletion is intended to delete the WushaCan account and associated cloud user data, subject to limited information that may need to be retained for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention or transaction-record purposes.

Deleting WushaCan from a device does not by itself necessarily delete a cloud account. Users who wish to delete their account should use the account deletion function or external deletion process.

13. Advertising and Privacy Choices

Where applicable, users may be able to manage advertising consent through privacy controls presented within WushaCan.

Users may also be able to control certain advertising or tracking settings through their device or platform settings.

On Apple platforms, WushaCan will request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework before accessing data that requires tracking authorization where applicable. Refusing tracking permission will not prevent access to the core WushaCan game.

14. Children and Younger Users

WushaCan is a general-audience word puzzle game and is not specifically directed at young children.

Zentori Studios does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

Age-related restrictions and appropriate advertising, consent or privacy protections may be applied where required by law, platform policy or the services used by WushaCan.

15. International Data Processing

WushaCan uses third-party cloud and technology providers that may process information in countries other than the country in which a user lives.

Where required, such processing is subject to appropriate legal and contractual safeguards provided by Zentori Studios or its service providers.

Zentori Studios uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information associated with WushaCan.

WushaCan uses established platform and cloud providers for authentication, data storage, advertising and purchases.

However, no electronic transmission, service or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
